Sigma Beauty was founded in 2009 and quickly grew in popularity, becoming a well-known global online beauty store. The site's experience, however, was struggling to keep with the company's success: the mobile experiences was extremely limited - 55% of users were on mobile devices, and the site wasn't even responsive; Sigma's user base includes both professional makeup artists and traditional customers, and both sets of customers needed to be given personalized pricing.
In Sigma Beauty, we saw a company with such explosive growth that eCommerce hadn’t been able to keep up. The project was an ideal end-to-end opportunity for Echidna to completely transform the company’s eCommerce: we leveraged user experience and visual design expertise to make the experience beautiful and intuitive, systems integration and platform knowledge to implement Kibo, and digital marketing and analytics to maximize continued growth.
